Who can join Pack 41?
Pack 41 welcomes all boys and girls grades K through 5. In the Lake Stevens area we represent Mt. Pilchuck and Machias Elementary schools, but any child in-district, out-of-district, or home schooled is welcome to join!
Can we visit before registering?
Yes! We encourage families to visit. Contact the pack and ask about the next good event for prospective families.
When are meetings?
Pack and Den meetings happen on Mondays during the school year, usually from 7–8 PM. Other activities like hikes, camps, bike rides, community service projects, professional sports outings, and learning excursions happen throughout the year. Contact the pack for current locations and detailed calendar information.
Do Scouts need to participate in all meetings?
Regular attendance helps Scouts get the most out of the program, especially at Den meetings where they work on adventures. We understand conflicts happen; please contact your Den Leader when your Scout will be absent so leaders can plan.
Do parents/guardians need to participate?
Yes. Cub Scouting is a family program, and parents or guardians are expected to take part. A parent or guardian must accompany Lions and Tigers at meetings and activities.

What if we can’t afford to join Cub Scouts?
The Mount Baker Council offers financial assistance for eligible families. See the Opportunity Fund resource or contact the pack with questions.
